LIFE GOES ON
Here we are over 30 years later at the place of our first date. We have changed, the area has changed, the world has changed. The only thing that hasn't changed is our love for each other, and God's love for us.

Long time, no see!
It has been a while since I last posted. A lot of water has gone under the bridge. As you can see our house is complete. That is me looking around our front door. I have a tendency to over build, do you think I have done it again? Now where in the world is my house?

A new season
I think that Spring may be here soon. At least I hope so.
I know that change is in the air.
A new President in Washington, with many new untried ideas.
A new way of looking at financial security, I don't think that we have found it yet!
In Maryville, Il. There was a drastic change, from a quite peaceful church service, to violence and death! All in a span of a few seconds.
Is there any place that we will be safe and secure? Again this is a sign of change and changes to come. If we are to stand up and be counted a Christians, we will be persecuted. We cannot expect to go through life with out trials.
In the coming years and decades Christians should expect more and more persecution. We have been told that it is coming. So where or how can we be safe? Behind walls? In stocks? In government bonds? In church? The last one is the closest one to being correct. But it is not in the church but of the church. If we put our trust and hope in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as our protector from this world, nothing the world sends our way will be able to remove us from his hands! The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life: of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1 KJV
Change is coming! Just like the seasons, Winter is giving up to spring with its new growth and life. Easter is coming and with it a renewal and re-affirmation of the fact that HE IS ALIVE! and because He lives so will I!!! And I can face tomorrow.
Keep the faith

COLD & WARM
The weather has tested our new insulation we put in our attic. It has helped! with the temp dropping to -14 our old heater has not had to over work to keep the house at the temp we set the thermostat, 68 that is a far cry from a balmy 72 but it keeps the bills down. Misty has been keeping Mom and I busy, she is on a 2 hour schedule for going outside. This starts at about 6:30 am and runs to 10:30 pm. She has been very good and is learning very fast, now if we could stretch her schedule out some... I think that we could have picked a better season for a new addition if it had been up to us, but the Lord knows best and we think that Misty will be a blessing to us all. She was sick for about two days after going to the vet and getting her shots, during that time she has clammed the corner by our sliding glass door as hers. The cold has limited my work our in the shop too cold for glue and finishing. So I have been planning and drawing out plans for projects. Mom and I are looking forward to spring and the projects we have lined up outside. That will come sooner than you think..
